CLINICAL REVIEW OF EAR, NOSE AND THROAT INJURIES IN CHILDREN

Objective: The aim of present study was to carry out a retrospective analysis types and causes ENT injuries in pediatric age group. Patients Methods: We carried 40 children up the 14 years with managed department period from March 2019 April 2021. Results: total number patients it comprised 31 males (77.5%) 9 females (22.5%). Twelve (30%) were under 5 years, 14(35%) 6-10 (35%) group 11–14 years. most common injury nasal bone fracture (28.45%) lacerated soft palate second which account for (22.5 percent). prevalent site nose region. About 32.5 percent caused by falls accidents, included falling roof, trees, beds or cribs, while sporting. 35% all are pointy items mouth traffic accidents. playing addition materials observed five Blunt trauma, stairs during playing, as well damage pointed items, etiological aged 6–10. ages shown be vulnerable Conclusion: differ those adults terms type mechanism. Prophylactic measures should adopted who at risk injuries.
